NetRadiant 1.5.0 fail - Droid - 04-15-2012

So i choose the engine path as /xonotic/data that fails...no texture loads
I change it to /xonotic/ the texture folders come up but when i load a pack...
the texture name appears but everything is red and black and says "shader image not found"

Aside from that everything looks fine. The Engine path is indeed folder/xonotic/ as you won´t find the executables in the data directory. Tongue

The engine path is right (/xonotic/).
If you are using the 0.6.0 release, Netradiant can't use the game textures (dds format). You need this:

Hello. I have downloaded the support package, extracted the pak3 file to my xonotic/data directory, but I am currently, after deleting my netradiant and starting fresh, I am not able to load the xonotic textures. My game engine path in netradiant preferences is indeed correct.

No no.. I extracted the pk3 file from the zip package. I didn't extract the contents of the pk3 file, the pk3 is sitting in my xonotic directory but the texture browser won't recognize it.

Make sure it is the last pk3 that loads so it overrides the other ones, name it zzzxx.pk3 or something, not sure if this will work though..

That didn't work. Thanks for the suggestion though, and I think you're on the right track. Netradiant is loading in all those compressed textures that come with xonotic.. we need to force netradiant to ignore the game textures and point it to the support pak3.

I am on windows 7. I have attached a screen of my xonotic data directory. as you can see I have created a folder called proper textures. I put the pak3 support file in there.

Any pk3 should be in the root of \data. Move it by one level upper!
If you try to extract the pk3, you'll find a directory structure in it, exactly how it should look like in \data. Only it's compressed, so you can move those files as one.

pk3 files should be in data... Unless I'm reading the screenshot wrong, that is the case here.

The basedir (Xonotic) is where the crypto keypairs are stored, and where the gamedir (Xonotic/data) is found.


Okay I get it, the problematic pk3 is in proper-textures. Nevermind.
