Greetings from California! - Paingwin - 10-01-2017

Hello there! I play as "Paingwin Sad" on servers! I played Nexuiz Classic for quite some time but was never involved in the community because I was a latecomer to the game (and also my connection to servers was bad anyways). Only recently have I learned about Xonotic, and yesterday I played my first multiplayer match and had a blast! I'm probably going to stick around for a while.
I come from California and play on a well-abused 2011 MacBookPro, often without a mouse, so if you see me online and I'm bad...that's why. But after playing NC in my spare time for a while, I'm not as bad as you might think.
Also, on a side-note: I've seen people on servers talk about other similar FPS arena games, like AssaultCube and Warsow. Those games appeared on my radar long ago but I disregarded them when I was satisfied with NC. Are they worth a shot to try out?

Welcome. I saw you playing on my server before from IRC. It has a dedicated niche of west coast players that regularly visit & they get notifications whenever someone joins. You're very welcome to either connect to the server or the server's chat channel @ QuakeNet #xonotic.na

Aiming is a skill that takes years to master if there was even a master or human player with perfect aim, doesn't stop people from playing shooter games.

The problem is whether the speed of my mastery exceeds the speed of my aging. Smile

I guess that hasn't stopped you either.
