Uh oh. I wish you luck.
EDIT: you're basically begging, there. Not very convincing. 640K ought to be enough for anybody.― Linux Torvalds |

RE: Server hosting?
Where in the universe would you like it hosted? I've got a spare server available in Lunar Base but there will be at times a small lag problem. Our underwater base should be finished in about 20 days, once we've moved the hardware in and dolphins are happy with the set up there will be some spare capacity there.

Heh, if you actually tried the guide you'll know that if you don't deviate from the guide, there will be no charge. The screenshot was more of a what happens when you don't watch your account/server activity for a couple of weeks and forget to make sure you disabled all the stuff you were toying around with that was completely unrelated to the guide sort of thing. Did I mention Amazon gives you cake if you use their service for a month? |

RE: Server hosting?
Oh okay. I wouldn't want to get a credit card and host a xonotic server just to understand what you meant by your last message on the thread. To me it seemed like you let the server run and ended up with a bill. Your reply wasn't that helpful in explaining that it wasn't the case either.
Welp. Confusion cleared, there was no need to be cynical about that. 640K ought to be enough for anybody.― Linux Torvalds |

RE: Server hosting?
Running 1 instance on Amazon has so proven to be totally free thus far. I'm over 500 hours right now and still no charges. The server is pretty good for smaller matches, but CTF has been laggy, sometimes unplayable. I turned the sys_ticrate up to 0.05 to see if that helps, but it's still 0.0333333 for 1v1.
