Been playing about with ReNoise 3 after finally buying a license. This is the first track I've actually 'finished' in a while. Not sure if this is suitable for in-game, but there are some upbeat drum+bass-y sections people might want to snip out and remix.

As for fitting the game - I personally think some parts would work well, but you'd need to remix it and throw a bunch of stuff out or make it a little less contrasting.
I don't know if others fell that way too. I think that if there's too much musically hapening in the track, it might detract players from the action.
EDIT: I see you've got some stuff on you Soundcloud, so you're not a total newbie. I misunderstood your post, becasue of a font glitch I expirienced while reading it.

I might have a go at making another mix of the track that would fit Xonotic, I know it's not in-keeping with the rest of the soundtrack and just wouldn't feel right in-game; I was just posting to see if there was any interest in this sort of thing.
Plan would be to ditch the mellowed, spacey parts and focus more on the energy of the drum'n'bass sections (maybe tone down the drum pattern just a bit), so it'll probably end up being an entirely different track
Nonetheless I should be working on some more stuff over the next few weeks/months now I'm back in a musical mood again.
