Sounds like ZeroQL uses mostly Quake 4 sounds

No. The video you posted with ZeroQL v Thimo. He is using sounds from Quake 4.

This made me realize how much sound effects really matter. I really like the sounds themeselves in Xonotic currently, but I think an audio engineer could sqeeze out so much more from them.

Have the sound pack found a dl of it and combined it with mines.
