So Xonotic downloads all external data like maps into a different folder than the default maps. I found a cool looking map on an old Nexiuz database and downloaded it to ~/.xonotic/data/dlcache, I'm just wondering how I would load it up in single player, as single player only looks at default maps.
If you want to play a map offline, simply move it from ~/.xonotic/data/dlcache to ~/.xonotic/data/
Ah I see, thanks! Got it to work

Although I still don't understand why the game doesn't recognize downloaded maps by default, why not make it so that if we wanna create a game, make it so we have access to all maps?
It can cause problems with your game.
For example if textures share the same name like default Xonotic textures, all of those Xonotic textures would look like the textures from the loaded pk3(s).
Therefore be careful with the amount of maps you put into your data folder.
