Hehe, i actually think the dodging mod he's talking about is the version we installed on one tunichtguten minsta server. It's basically dodging on a crack/speed combination. Try it one day. Great fun
Oh and yeah, the dodging code in xonotic is coming along nicely. Still some kinks to iron out though.. We also plan to add a Warsow dash style key as alternative input method besides double tapping a direction key. So to each his own ;D

Clan Arena and CTF
Onslaught needs to be fixed and it can be much fun too.
Assault has no maps and i guess nobody can tell if it works or not :) But it's fun for tourneys too.
Vordreller, maybe we'll have an ons server admined by me and L29Ah in a week or two. As I'm currently using xonotic to play on nexuiz servers it may even be a xonotic server.
(What's with all these missing textures in xonotic btw?)

are many types and ways to organize the Tournament, mostly DM or CTF 1/2/3/4/5/6 vs 1/2/3/4/5/6 two clans, it depends on how many players will participate in the tournament

endurance - 32 players dm, last one left after everyone else gave up/passed out wins (kick if idle for more then hmm 2 min?)

I'll play in just about any team game with less than 10 people. Anything over 4v4 is to big for me.
CTF is still the best though, with small CA's next, followed by a tie between TDM and duel.

That are quite some unique ideas. I am not a competitive or tournament player at all, but I like both of them. The first tournament ideas that actually got me hesitating if I'd register for such a tournament.

but not more than 5 guys per match i think (of course it depends on a map, but 8 players e.g. on soylent make it more like lottery with all those fireballs flying around...)
