Haven't played that yet, though I have been playing through Hard Reset which is pretty good so far. Definitely an old school FPS done right. For some reason it reminds me of Codename: Tenka aka Lifeforce: Tenka, though it doesn't really have too much in common with it outside of some enemy designs and it's upgradeable weapons.

Quake III, your good and I'm gonna let you finish, but Nexuiz 2.4.2 was easily one of the best multiplayer experiences of all time!

As far as nex go, i enjoyed 1.2.1 the most. The stuff 'left running' today i find fairly.. not god. As for best game of '11 i cant say any major title i played this year made a big mark.

- as far as i remember - this was the version, ctf were implemented.Best Game 2011: GNOME-Mahjongg - Time Dschihad, and continuly losing to my GF. But fun.
