RE: Duel/Lower skill Tourney #1 - frostwyrm333 - 05-01-2014 bah RE: Duel/Lower skill Tourney #1 - Karamel - 05-01-2014 Oops. Not enough players? Too much feed-draw-back? What about newbie sessions on DCC Beginner server? Advanced players can spectate to support it's challenger. But it's getting close for a 180° turnaround. RE: Duel/Lower skill Tourney #1 - deoxys - 05-01-2014 no karamel, mirio ragequit xonotic so the cup is cancelled under his administration... if we can have someone step in in time to wrap it up it would be great, but not likely RE: Duel/Lower skill Tourney #1 - frostwyrm333 - 05-01-2014 again? gl hf RE: Duel/Lower skill Tourney #1 - Ben - 05-27-2014 I was practicing with Ameis and noticed the grapple hook is on. Is it supposed to be? RE: Duel/Lower skill Tourney #1 - Mirio - 05-27-2014 A lot of things are voteable and you could find the vcall to turn it off via vhelp. Are there actually any low skill players in this cup? RE: Duel/Lower skill Tourney #1 - Antibody - 05-30-2014 Don't get discouraged! Focus on an aspect of your game that you know needs improvement. Put that thing as your primary objective during your matches. Once you're executing to the point of it becoming second nature, move on to another thing! Rinse and repeat as necessary, and you'll be stronk before you know it! Some general categories from my past experience: - Timing ONE mega consistently - Denying access to a weapon or area - Spamming the most likely or high traffic-ed areas - Approaching conflicts as "situations", with the situation dictating your weapon choices - Being aware of where your opponent is at all times - Making your opponent "earn" their position by inflicting damage, while at the same time avoiding damage on yourself - Evading a charging opponent - Not wasting shots (e.g. being patient with your aim even when you're taking damage) - Learning map spawn points - Moving through maps with efficiency - Minimizing your sound profile (i.e. being "sneaky") RE: Duel/Lower skill Tourney #1 - Mirio - 05-31-2014 News: Grunt could not sign up earlier (real life issues) and joins Group B |
