There's been games almost every evening for regular Xonotic (no instagib/overkill/whatever) on at least one North American server. But yeah Xonotic could always use more players.

There is way less NA players than before and much more EU. Sure a couple people play there and there but SMB Insta was always at the top. Mind you a few left when I shut down my Shotgun server so yah lol.
Now it is summer holidays and all and again the EU sides says more active than NA during summer breaks.

Well it's 4th now. The server at 2nd place is played rather consistently and is unmodified, enough for some team game modes too.

But look at the games. I use to be 500-600 and a year or so 300+

Players from Central Europe get around 100-120ms (maybe less) on US East Coast servers, which is playable if it lacks players.

LOL I play with 140-200 all the time but that's me majority will not play a server if they can't get >50ms unless the server is really full of players.

Yeah the player balance is pretty unfair. Im around the Dallas area and it terrible playing against french people with a ping of 153
