modelling - ati - 02-23-2026 i would really appreciate, if someone could tutor me how blender to netradiant works. not beginner here, i already scrapped an md3 export addon for blender, models are appearing in netradiant, textures did not. RE: modelling - bones_was_here - 02-24-2026 This isn't my area of knowledge but: - if you want to use the model as part of the world model (main map geometry) then .obj format is probably best, blender can export it directly and netradiant and xonotic both support loading it - if you want to use the model for an entity (especially if it will have skeletal animation) then .iqm is probably the best format, blender requires a plugin for exporting it and netradiant and xonotic both support loading it. We have a mirror of the IQM plugin for blender https://gitlab.com/xonotic/iqm There's pages on the wiki that may help https://gitlab.com/xonotic/xonotic/-/wikis/home |
