mailing list - O.I.B. - 03-24-2010

A mailing list to inform people about new releases isn't a bad idea I think.
Any change of getting one? Rolleyes

How about following on Twitter?

How about a more or less official identi.ca group? (identi.ca is like Twitter, but it's FOSS and about 10x better :-) ).

Don't use Facebook, but I am following twitter. If there was only a nice twitter gui for linux Dodgy maybe I should search for a twitter conky script.

You can also subscribe to the RSS Feed of Xonotic.org. A version release is a big news so it will be posted on the front page.

Who manages the Facebook Page?

I just use Echofon for Firefox. It's small, fast and does everything I need. It sits in the 'tray' right next to Greasemonkey, Alexa and TorButton =]

For my G1 I use Twidroid.

Edit: +1 Identi.ca great service, awesome crowd.

I guess there's no use for waiting ;-)

(if anyone from the dev team would like o take care of this group officially, I'm willing to give away the administrative privileges.)
