Please select your age in the poll. Try to avoid lying - and if you would lie, please select the "I'd lie anyway" option in the poll to not break the statistics.

This is a kind of invalid poll since the selection you would have to make in order to respond truthfully is bound to change over time. The graphical display of the poll result will be doomed since you can never tell which of the thousands of expected answers are still correct and which are not any more. You could of course fix it by changing the answers to date of birth ranges (just to make this not quite serious criticism of mine also a constructive one).
That and where's the privacy statement?
Another thought - is it even logically possible to select "I'd lie anyway if asked that"? I got very puzzled about this question, which is why I selected it immediately.

21, but not like most gamers of the same age, I actually know what a Colecovision (Best Donkey Kong Jr port, tons of Sega classics including a Zaxxon port), Commodore 64 (MANY classics including the original Sim City), Atari 2600 (Vanguard and Phoenix FTW), Intellivision (Advanced Dungeons and Dragons), and Magnavox Oddysee (Damn this one is old) not to mention other obscure and old systems are.

i used to play duke nukem and blood over my telephone modem...then in the midde of a duel i would hear suddenly hear my mother complain that she wanted thr phone line
.ISDN in greece was introduced around 1992-3 iirc,i used to play with a 48k connection : ) .Never liked doom though.i sucked at it 2 : P

hehe I was about 4 or 5 when I first played Mortal Kombat with the blood code enabled. As I got older I played even more "violent" games such as LOADED, Doom, Wolfenstein 3d, and Quake. Fun games, parents didn't care that I played them. Here's LOADED, I was only about 7 when I first played this.

When I was three I got to play with a photocopier, does that count?
Gaming on Monkey Island 2 and Lemmings started at age 8. I missed out the early first person shooters as there hardware requirements were mind-boggling at the time and only picked up Duke Nukem 3D in 97.
I'm now 26.
