Because it just makes the game hyper-unrealistic. Obviously the game isn't realistic in the first place, but being able to fly in a large circle from a jump pad (that's supposed to project you in the opposite direction) just takes it too far.

I agree. Also looks like it may make it a -bit- easy to escape.

I wasn't comparing it to Nexuiz. I just don't think it's good that you can fly around in huge circles in the air.
