Music editing software - NuckChorris - 03-05-2011 Hey Fkrs, Anyone know/use a good FREE music editor RE: Music editing software - clanclanclan - 03-06-2011 I don't really know anything about music, but Audacity is pretty easy to use and fairly popular. Also checkout Linux MultiMedia Studio (there's a M$ Windows version available on their homepage, despite the name) if you're into creating music. It seems fairly neat. Pretty much everything on this page is free, as well. RE: Music editing software - JayWalker - 03-06-2011 Ardour is a pretty nice DAW from what I've read/used. Especially its 3.0 development branch is really sweet Nice community, awesome software. Runs on many Unixes including linux and OS X http://www.ardour.org RE: Music editing software - .Danny. - 03-08-2011 http://www.ardour.org [/quote] Good link. Thanks. RE: Music editing software - master[mind] - 03-10-2011 LMMS is the best solution for creating free fully sequenced music. If your recording, use Ardour. LMMS has a compiled binary version of Zynaddsubfx included, which far outperforms the VST version giving you an extremely powerful 8 voices @ 50 unisons synth with FM, PM, RM, and Morph modulation schemes as well as effects and a powerful PadSynth(subtractive Fourier Synthesis).
