Since I have a Launchpad account, I can create PPA's. Should I make one for Xonotic, or is it, like, too early for anything?

No, I think you should at least wait until our next stable release. (Not development releases either)

I still think that you can make PPA for Xonotic when game is in developement, but name it xonotic-git like somebody did on AUR:

Well, my browser shows the launchpad login site. Anyway, just try https://launchpad.net/~lamparski - I guess it's not working because Minkovsky didn't yet create the xonotic tree on launchpad.
ALSO you releasize that this thread is a bit old? :p I don't know if he's working on that anymore. (tbh, looks like he isn't.)
