The Race Challenge - May - Cortez666 - 04-30-2011
Time for the next challenge!
The good thing is everyone is able to participate, no matter where you are, because you can do it locally.
This time its race again, but with different physics!
The Map is Terminal from FruitieX.

Goal: Complete the map as fast as possible! Start the map as normal and then open the console and type: exec physicsXPM.cfg
Rules:
- XPM physics only
- the fastest player has to make a demo or video to show off how he done it (so everyone gets a clue how to play that map)
post your times here!
Deadline: 1st June

You had to outrun me by half a second, hm? I mean, you couldn't just do either one or more seconds faster or at least stay behind me? Now I got the feeling I maybe could beat that time again if I only tried hard enough. This really tempts me to take another go at this race... >:o(]
Edit: After several fruitless attempts I finally got 26:32, but that doesn't have any effect :o/ I seem to be unable to prevent loss of velocity when switching from strafe jumping to strafe + forward jumping (sry for my lack of knowledge of the proper terms).
