crash when trying to enter rcon - Back4More - 07-15-2011 Hi there, Whilst testing on a friends server with the current Auto-build I find that xonotic crashes each time I try to enter the rcon. here is the error that I recieve for both 32/64 bit versions; Code: Faulting application name: xonotic.exe, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4e1cd3a3 Code: Faulting application name: xonotic-x64.exe, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4e1cd3d7 any help would be appreciated. also I notice that when I try to enter a hostname into the address bar at the bottom of the MP HUD there is a 60sec pause (freeze) before the test appears and is ready for joining... thank you in advance. System specs: AMD Dual Core 4800+ Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. Geforce 8800 GT 2 GB Ram. RE: crash when trying to enter rcon - Maddin - 07-15-2011 Did you tried to redownload the game? Maybe it´s broken or something like that. Also I noticed that you use 2GB RAM on Win7, ... well could be a bit too less. RE: crash when trying to enter rcon - It'sMe - 07-18-2011 Hey, now I tried to crash something with rcon, too when you try rcon with or without argument (without sending rcon_password before) you just receive the message "You must set rcon_password before issuing an rcon command." (like you should receive) If you have sent a valid rcon_password command rcon_password ****** then you have to send rcon with an argument otherwise client crashes... Here is my full client log (i guess this will not help) |
