What IRC client do you use? - Erusavion - 04-01-2010 =D I've been trying to find a really good simple IRC client that is free, so I thought I'd just see what everyone else uses. I've been using Chatzilla for awhile. RE: What IRC client do you use? - emesde - 04-01-2010 I use irssi.. simple enough on Linux. RE: What IRC client do you use? - Silverburn - 04-01-2010 I use chatzilla. Not as an addon, but as a standalone program. On Windows. Check this site for a guide: http://chatzilla.rdmsoft.com/xulrunner/ RE: What IRC client do you use? - naryl - 04-01-2010 irssi is everything you need and nothing extra. But you'll probably want another client if you're not on Linux. RE: What IRC client do you use? - Erusavion - 04-01-2010 Irssi was exactly what I was looking for =) I'll put it on my linux partition RE: What IRC client do you use? - lopho - 04-01-2010 xchat RE: What IRC client do you use? - EvilSpaceHamster - 04-01-2010 Colloquy, a real perdy Mac IRC client, feels like a perfect cocoa app... RE: What IRC client do you use? - Mirio - 04-01-2010 mIRC. (Sig) RE: What IRC client do you use? - master[mind] - 04-01-2010 0irc It's a Windows only client. It's awesomely small and simple. RE: What IRC client do you use? - AnArKiSt - 04-01-2010 I use Opera, for IE is a pain, and Firefox is slower on Windows. Opera has a built in IRC client, and the IRC interface is really neat. Sorry about the ambiguity. I have trouble describing its awesomeness. Try Opera, and you'll understand. RE: What IRC client do you use? - Exitium - 04-02-2010 XChat <3 RE: What IRC client do you use? - Erusavion - 04-02-2010 I've just started using weechat. I must say, it is rocking. And looks very good with default settings ![]() RE: What IRC client do you use? - O.I.B. - 04-05-2010 I use pidgin, I don't want 2 separate apps just for chatting ![]() RE: What IRC client do you use? - morfar - 04-07-2010 I've have used many many clients Some I remember now... mirc, chatzilla (extension and standalone version), xchat, irssi, weechat, 0irc, kvirc, mibbit, hydrairc, pidgin, trillian, azureus plugin. And probably more... But right now I use xchat.. it's the most simple stable gui client imo. I'm a big gui fan. RE: What IRC client do you use? - koruptor - 04-07-2010 pidgin. But i don't use IRC too often. Like 3 times per year. IRC is too retarted. Dumb channel ops who ban without good reason. RE: What IRC client do you use? - Cyber Killer - 04-12-2010 I'm usually using an XMPP-IRC transport and using my XMPP client (Psi). If I need a fully blown irc client then it's XChat for me ;-). RE: What IRC client do you use? - Roanoke - 04-13-2010 Xchat on linux has served me well so far. |
