RPM Packaging For Various Linux Distros - Antairs - 09-10-2011

I saw a post about Gentoo packages, but is anyone working on RPMs for the various Linux distros?

In Arch Linux, the update to the AUR is in progress as far as I can tell.
I don't know about other distros, do trusted users take care of this? I'm not aware of any TU's in any distro in our community.

Just for fun I'm thinking about building an RPM for myself to run on Open SuSE 11.3 and 11.4. I've done some basic RPM packages in the past. It would be cool to get a rpm of the game in the repositories for Open SuSE. I was thinking about working on maps for Xonotic, but I have no clue about then. At least with creating RPMs I have some knowledge there. Smile

I could do it for debian stable, may be testing and unstable 32 and 64 bit.
