Yes it is, it's in the release notes in the blog. It says there's no official map supporting vehicles yet.

If it's a nexuiz map, it might not work.
I don't think you need to do anything special to have the vehicles spawn.

You need a map that supports vehicles. I don't know if one exists. Search the mapping forum.
