how to add xonotic to ubuntu 11.10 dash - ervindy - 10-21-2011
hi guys, i just downloaded the game and was able to play it on my ubuntu 11.10.
my question is since i downloaded it as a whole in zip form, is it possible to place the files such that the dash records it? i.e. i can search xonotic at the dash and it will be searched
i tried searching it on google but to no avail, and i'm still a newbie when it comes to ubuntu.

I would suggest your home folder for that, for example /home/yourusername/games/
