I had been involved with Nexuiz as a QC developer (bug fixing, code cleaning). I pretty much abandoned it due to the licensing, I can commit to the same work for Xonotic =)
I have no formal qualifications in programming (I'm a professional Software Tester) but it is a hobby that I've taught myself (I know C#, QC, Lua).
I already have all the QC docs from my time at nexuiz, so I can start whenever! Though I'll be more active on the forums as IRC doesn't fit into my lack of a social life outside work (long hours and long commute home)..
