Help support a new indie project! - Samual - 12-09-2011 Hey everyone, So a friend of mine has recently been working on a new project to create an old school RPG game in a 3D voxel based world, and he's looking to get help with development and funding for the project. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1190690310/forge-quest-a-sandbox-action-rpg I'm asking if you guys would check it out and perhaps pitch in a few bucks to support them Basically, if they don't reach their goal to raise $7,500 by the deadline, no one is forced to pay -- It's a pledge: You pledge to donate to the project, if they can get enough support going. Otherwise, you have the option to either completely forget about the project, or donate whatever you want anyway if you wish to. Personally, i'd be really glad to see his project take off, the indie development world is tough. P.S.: Even if you're not interested in this project specifically, take a look around Kickstarter -- It's a great idea, and i've already pledged to several projects there. I always like supporting indie projects. RE: Help support a new indie project! - CuBe0wL - 12-09-2011 Yes, but unfortunately I can't because I'm in the middle of financial crisis, and I'd rather support Xonotic first, also, I cannot read linux support, though I might have missed it, I'm pre coffee. Looks like a cute game, I might take a look at it's progress from time to time. Good luck for your friends' efforts! RE: Help support a new indie project! - unfa - 12-11-2011 Looks like someone got inspired by Minecraft Anayway - cool idea, I hope they'll get the money and kick it off. Unfortunately I'm also in a financial crisis, I'd better help myself now, but maybe I'll make it to kick in some money before the time runs out |
