UPDATE: Version 2 released, with a few improvements (walls and player-controllable water level!)
A classic to any who played the original game, I present to you Wet Dry World, a medium-sized open DM map with rising water:

I haaaittee Xonotic water, it's essentially a death trap, makes you a free target. Well, maybe this is the point.
And make some outer borders for this pool. It looks nasty, hanging there cube-shaped by the power of some magic.

Yes, magic. You got a problem with that? But You're right about the cube-shaped cube-shapenessity of it. It should be triangle-shaped or star-shaped.

Randomly decided to update this map with new skills learned over the years since this was released, now featuring more walls and a player-controlled water level!
The gameplay is also more optimised for Xonotic's movement, every area is now accessible without the use of the blaster.
