Hi, I'm making a race map.

I'm pretty bad player so I would like know if the map is playable or I should drop it and start another one.

Ok ... im understanding that this is a wip ...

It works fine ... its also completely playable ...

I was able to get about 29 seconds .... which is about my average time on stomkeep race
in other words ... its sized good

I like the way that the path crisscrosses itself, that helps keeping things interesting...

I also like the little hidden shortcut ...
...
...

So I say ... fix up the graphics a bunch ... ad you've got yourself a good race map Big Grin

Good. My intention was to make 30 s (or some seconds less) map.

Great map With nice background and compact design. The only thing I found missing was music but that shouldn't be hard to fix

It´s getting awesome, I smell it! Only make those crappy shadows look better with _lightmapscale 0.25 and -samples 8! Big Grin

It´s awesome! The only thing you have to change is the size of the checkpoints. When using the laser you sometimes get a bit too high and miss the trigger for the checkpoint!

Very nice map, I like what you did with it in both looks and layout. With the warm skybox and the cute Xonotic shadows, maps like these do not need a lot more eye candy. I love it!

I have added it to my small Race server. You will recognize it in the server list, it is the only Race server :p

There will always be room for more maps like these on my server, so if you enjoy making race maps they will be well received by me Smile

Edit: my server crashed twice already while this map was running. Not during practice, but during the actual race. Something with missing spawnpoints. If I have time today I will try to see what could be causing this.

@PinkRobot: there are 4 info_player_race entities (race_place from -1 to 4). Maybe I missed something?
