Yo everybody! - Archer - 04-14-2012
Hi there, I'm Archer
Started playing 2-3 weeks ago, because I saw a vid of the "new" Nexuiz (the paid version) and then I saw somebody mentioning Xonotic in his comment. I went here to download it, then I started to play and fell in love with the game. ^^
You'll see me playing a bit of everything on the populated servers, I like dm a lot, and overkill ctf is also great. Ingame my name is something like:
<--Archer-< with red and darkgrey variatons in it.
Already made a nemesis, his name is Sairez, dunno if he posts here though xD
I enjoy this game a lot, also because I played a lot of quake, UT and doom, so you'll see me online pretty often!
PS: The menu soundtrack is really awesome!

Haha, saw you in that 1vs1 server, didn't manage to fix the problem with the black map though, because I had to look for the dlcache folder first, herpy derpy windows put it somewhere else.
Then, when I finally found it, I forgot what to delete.. so yeah xD

It´s in your personal folder in "My Games/xonotic/data/dlcache/". Search for the package which contains the broken map, usually the name of the map (here-> warfare_itemfix_itemfix.pk3).

Thanks! The duels were fun, very challenging for me, learned some new tricks too, got my ass kicked totally by Mirio, and played some good rounds against you too, nice! ^^

Kojn means feel free to join the channel #xonotic.pickup on irc.quakenet.org if you like to play organized matches. You'll also find lots of experienced players there that might give you additional hints or even a small private tutorial.
