Is there a way to play regular deathmatches on capture-the-flag maps? I've tried converting the maps by adding "gametype dm" to the *.mapinfo file, but the maps still don't show up in the deathmatch map list.

In which directory is the mapinfo you edited?

I'll use the map called "tarx" as an example. The pk3 is located here:
~/Games/Xonotic/Data/tarx-full.pk3 (on the Linux system)
My Documents/Xonotic/Data/tarx-full.pk3 (on the WinXP system, same problem there)
And inside the .pk3:
maps/tarx.mapinfo

do not edit files inside pk3s. You'll get lost with revisions, and you won't be able to tell the original from your modification. Instead, create the file My Documents/My Saved Games(something like that)/Xonotic/data/maps/tarx.mapinfo
That will override the default mapinfo.
