I wish the development of xonotic was going at the same pace but its no surprise; there are so many starwars fans there are bound to be ones with tech know how who willing to contribute.

I can't complain about xonotic though. Little by little, with every quality build it grows...its going to be a great game, I can feel it (*que inception score*)

Yeah, Xonotic will get there, I know it will!

Btw, devs, if you ever need extra help, do you make recruitment pages or send emails? If I've learnt anything from doing this game, it's that you need to ask around a lot to find new members. Smile

I've already told them about Xonotic and if ever we are really ahead of schedule or are on a break, I can ask them if they want to do a bit of modelling or texturing Xonotic. I would ask them to maybe make some code, but they would need to learn Quake C which may take a while. Tongue

Sounds like a plan. If they can make the weapon models(once we have a set weapon balance of course) when available, that would be a huge help.

I also agree that we should try to implement some form of recruiting for xonotic.

Just for you Squigger and fellow Xonotic players, check out our latest weapon, the A280 rifle:

Awesome stuff, I remember using that weapon a lot for the rebels in Battlefront 1. Good Times

rocknroll, are you sure that the project wont get a cease and desist notice? Apart from that, I can't wait.
Also I know this is off topic but always wanted to make my own CryEngine project, but I have no idea how to use Cryblend.

Well we don't think there's any reason to get a c+d letter because we aren't technically doing anything wrong.

Yeah, Cryblend is a bit fiddly but there are 3 threads I can give you that might help:
