Greetings from France ! - SpiKe - 07-26-2012

Hi all,

I'm not exactly new on Xonotic, as I started to play 4 months ago Tongue
However, I'm new on this forum, so it's time to introduce myself.

I'm a French guy who enjoys GNU/Linux, guitar and beer ^^
I'm not a hardcore gamer at all, but I used to play UT99 and then UT2004. I wasn't that bad at InstaGIB DM and Onslaught mods in UT, but I sucked at regular DeathMatchs Undecided

I discovered Xonotic on some thread on an Ubuntu forum, as I was looking for a Quake-like FPS.
I tried OpenArena, Warsow, AlienArena and Xonotic, and I eventually stuck with Xonotic Big Grin

My stats are not impressive at all ( http://stats.xonotic.org/player/3270 ), but I play mainly for fun, even if I'm trying to improve my skill Tongue
I really appreciate the good atmosphere among Xonotic players !

I enjoy DM and CTF, but I'm not a regular player, so I can spend lots of day without playing, and then play many, many hours in a single day ^^

Oh and AC/DC used to be my favourite band! Now it's a tie between Iron Maiden, Rush and Guns N' Roses. They're my big 3.

Guns N' Roses are in my "big 10" Tongue
My big 3 would be AC/DC, ZZ Top and Jimi Hendrix ^^
