Black screen and crash at launch - kiro - 08-11-2012
Hi
When I start the game, a black screen appears, my computer freezes, and I can't ctrl+alt+del, I have to reboot it.
I found this thread from someone who had the same problem, and fixed it, but he doesn't really explain how he did it.
So, help!

Hi!
What's your OS? Can you try running Xonotic in windowed mode? You can do this by either passing +vid_fullscreen 0 as option to the executable, or adding set vid_fullscreen to either config.cfg or autoexec.cfg in your data directory.

Now you should try to set the right resolution for your display and give fullscreen a try, it might work!
What is your OS?
EDIT: And can you set the prefix in your first post as [SOLVED]? Full Edit the post and select [SOLVED] next to the topic name.
