I forgot how I did it but I changed my crosshair color and cant find where that was in the settings. Also is there like a list or pic or something of values you can type in for the different crosshairs in the advanced settings menu? I admit to being a big noob at this

Try typing "apropos crosshair" into console (open it by pressing shift-ESC), that prints out any related cvars for changing crosshairs (use mousewhell to scroll them through). You can then set the cvars by calling the cvar in console followed by the value it should take (like, "crosshair 16" in console). For colors, you can use "crosshair_color" (followed by decimal values). My "crosshair_color" cvar looks like this: "0.6 0.8 1". Note that you will have to include the three values in " as otherwise the engine would not know when to stop looking for values to add to that cvar.
