RE: Introducing Player Badges - R+e^i - 09-25-2014

Hi,

I wonder why my badge won't get updated? (See below, player ID 24333).

I have been inactive for a long time and all my ELOs got reset to their defaults -- are the badges tracking the all-time high? But even so, I have also changed my nick design and it still isn't represented in the badge...

Maybe you deleted your xonstat key, then you have a new account already. (easy way to check: search for your new nick on xonstat, if it appears, ask admin to merge the two instances)

No, check his stats page.

It does not update for me either.

RE: Introducing Player Badges - R+e^i - 09-25-2014

No, my key most definitely didn't change since my stats data is still being updated.

RE: Introducing Player Badges - Smilecythe - 09-25-2014

Sometimes it updates almost right away and most of the time it has a delay of couple days or more in it, from what I could tell.

My badge is off almost 100 elo points for duel lol and I think it's been like that for a month now.

RE: Introducing Player Badges - R+e^i - 09-25-2014

I'm asking now since previously any changes where reflected much faster in the badge, at most within 24 hours. Now I've been playing again since roughly a fortnight and nothing got updated. The engineer in me can tell that something technical is definitely off.

RE: Introducing Player Badges - Halogene - 09-26-2014

Wow, my badge is 650 elo points off for dm Big Grin I never noticed...

My playing time is not that much off, I don't think I got those 650 elo in the one and a half days that are missing. This is odd...

Thank you for talking to and quoting Antibody himself.

I'm just not sure whether that means that badges are de-facto a suspended, terminated or fix-awaiting service?

RE: Introducing Player Badges - Mirio - 11-30-2014

Good news: Antibody was able to fix the badges, so they should be working again! =)

Geez you're quick w/ the announcements!

Stats in signature area? - MarisaG - 09-17-2018

I have seen some posters that have game stats in their signature areas. Can someone tell me how to set that up?

RE: Stats in signature area? - Antibody - 09-17-2018

They are called "badges". See this thread.

Hmm, I dont have a membership there...

RE: Stats in signature area? - Antibody - 09-19-2018

You probably don't have 32 tracked games on your account, which is an entrance criteria.

Im sure thats it. Smile

An update regarding XonStat badges - Antibody - 12-19-2018

Hi everyone!

The badges that many players are using as their forum signatures were taking up too much space on our server, so I changed the process to generate JPEG files instead. When you get the chance, please update your forum signature URLs for these to use the ".jpg" suffix to reflect this change. Even if you do not do so, they will still work, albeit in a weird way: I've authored a URL rewrite rule that will swap out "static/badges/...png" with the content from "static/badges/...jpg". While this means that the images will work with either URL, it does mean that regardless of the suffix you'll be getting a JPEG file. It also means I don't need to go mucking around in the forum database Smile.

The README on the badges repo is updated to reflect the updated URL scheme.

Cheers, and let me know if you encounter any issues.
