1. Can we get that encoded using some kind of free codec (e.g. VP8+Vorbis inside webm)? Pretty please... :-)
2. Why not use BitTorrent for distribution?

Just ideological reasons, plus h264 is free to use only for a limited time, in a few years the creator company will probably start to collect royalties.
