Xonotic Quick Cup #16 (2v2 TDM) - asyyy - 10-16-2012
The next edition of the Xonotic Quick Cup series will bring 2v2 TDM back. To deliver a enjoyable experience for all skill levels this time the cup will feature a higher and a lower bracket. It works like that: top 2 from each group go to higher bracket playoffs, 3+4 go to lower bracket playoffs. In the end there will be a higher bracket and a lower bracket champion. So don't hesitate to sign up!
Quick facts:
- 2v2 TDM (XPM)
- eXile servers (DE) + fro's server (UK)
- Timelimit 15 in groupstage, timelimit 20 in playoffs, no fraglimit
- Bo1 in groupstage, Bo3 in playoffs
- Mappool: Stormkeep, Breath, Opium
- Date/time: Sunday, 18th November 18:00 CET (12:00 PM EST; 4:00 AM AEST)
The date is subject to change, please let us know if it fits you.
- Admins: asyyy, Mirio
- Skill level: any (read above)
Just join #exile.xonotic.cup (IRC QuakeNet) at the given date if you want to participate. No registration somewhere needed!
If you don't have a partner just idle in that channel before the cup starts and you may find a mate. Furthermore it's a good idea to ask at #xonotic.pickup (IRC QuakeNet) if you want to create a team or organize a practice session.

We will try out a couple of maps before announcing the mappool. Using quake maps will be only the very last option.

Yes, I can see that they're there, but it would still be a nice touch to have it laid out as a sort of list/interactive calender on the main page and blog.

Okay, fair enough.
Wow, look at all of those Birthdays!
The main problem with that calender though is that it doesn't list upcoming events (like in my picture), so you have to cycle through all the dates to see when stuff happens.
