SSD are indeed expensive, I got mine(60gb intel ssd) for about 70$ which costed as much as my 500gb harddrive.

Actually I'm not, I just hate Intel and nVidia (monopolistic practices == pure evil), I'm quite neutral to AMD, though I'm very happy about their FLOSS drivers approach. I'm defending AMD just to keep the balance in the universe :-).
