Broken animations in the Autobuild right now? - poVoq - 03-30-2013

I recently updated my Autobuild and it seems like the animations are currently borked... e.g. all playermodels are shown in T-pose only.
a few days before I had a similar problem with a t-pose duplicate being shown, but now it is just the t-pose.

Now I am not sure if it is not an effect of me playing around with a new custom playermodel (great to see that there are animation/aiming blending details in the model txt now btw), but since all the original models have the same problem I guess it is not me.
However it makes it hard to test the rigging and the optimal iqm exporting, so I hope it will get fixed soon.

P.S.: I am running on Mint Linux 64 bit with a mobile GPU (Geforce 555m) under bumblebee. Maybe that doesn't play well with the new GPU based skeletal animations feature that was recently added to Darkplaces? Is there an option to disable it somehow (can't see it in the menu)?

Thanks for helping out!

Yes I have that as well in my autobuild. Tha players are in T-pose, and there arre some additional problems with Overkill, those include t-pose duplicates, which stay after death, and the skybox being visible throught some surfaces on the models.

Ok, good to know that it isn't just me. Hope it gets fixed soon as I actually wanted to finalize those new player models this extended weekend.

The first reflex should be to check if the bug has been reported and, if not, report it.

Halogene reported the bug and also noted a temporary workaround: http://dev.xonotic.org/issues/1459

Are you blaming us for not reporting the bug?

I know I am guilty.

Ahh thanks for the temporary fix!

No, because Halogene did it 4 days ago already. My point is to remind people that there is a bug tracker and that they can use it to get information and help fixing bugs.

Animations work fine in latest autobuild again for me.

Hmm... however an update attempt I just did, showed no files being updated, hence no changes done yet?

Err, looks like there are no new builds again. But it somehow works for me correctly.

Guys and gals, please update the tracker item if you have something new. Anyway, r_glsl_skeletal was defaulted to 0 in a recent commit (yesterday). See my last update on the tracker item (#4).

How do you post bugs in the tracker?
