Just switched to Ubuntu 2 weeks ago and still learning the how-to's of the "new" OS...
Found Xonotic and, well... love it.
You'll soon have a good player from Brazil online (as soon I get the hang of it)

I'm afraid the first one (bunny hopping) is ugly text only, but they get better illustrated from the second one.

Don't worry... who wants to learn look at the content, not the "presentation"
... I've learned from that... but some images would help in the first one XDLearned the "bunny hopping" thing, but still a n00b... xD
My experience from Quake was good, but "outdated" here =P
