I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, so if it's not the right place, just move it or something Smile
but anyway, I was wondering what maps are important to learn for duels? Which maps are most played/popular for duels?

You can easily find that out by visiting http://stats.xonotic.org and having a look at the (duel) servers and their most active maps (on the right side).

[unconnected] votable public Server | UC - [0.7.0]

[unconnected] votable pickup Server | UC - [0.7.0]

(Prophets) Duel Sanctuary [Minsta|Hook]

So the most played maps are probably:
  • Hub / Aero
  • Stormkeep
  • Fuse
  • Darkzone
  • Silentsiege
Where Hub and Stormkeep are played a lot. You should definitely learn them first. Wink

Also useful to learn: Pluvail, Iprisioned, Final Rage, Opium, Downer, Warfare.

I think you misstyped Pluvial as well Not sure though.

KoalaBearScarf: Check all Maddin's maps. I strongly recommend. Try also "Red" by Cortez as well as "downer final" by him.

You can join a server and vote for a map to get it too. Wink

Code:
vmap MAPNAME
(Shift+ESC to open console)

You usually don't need to type the hole name though, so "vmap hub" should do it too for example.
