Too bad the netcode isn't very good for playing on high ping

I gave it a go when it was new and then ditched it entirely when they switched to that freemium model. Revised or not, it's still Q3A and UT99 still kicks the crap out of it.

If the reason of trying out QL is to get a taste of Quake I might add that you could as well try q3cpma. It's a great mod to q3, and has an active pickup community at #cpmpickup and #cpmduel on Quakenet.

I played a bit with kojn, it wa a bit frustrating since I felt very restricted movement wise and my aim was horrible. Thanks for pkaying though! And I think this game is more about thinking and strategic play compared to Xonotic and WSW for example.
It is worth trying, and easier modes like CA cann be lots of fun even if you suck as much as me. :-)
