Is it just me or did Overgrowth steal our logo? - Samual - 01-17-2014 RE: Is it just me or did Overgrowth steal our logo? - machine! - 01-17-2014 While I loved Lugaru and are planning to buy Overgrowth, I must say, hell yes. Let make some drama and get coverage. RE: Is it just me or did Overgrowth steal our logo? - Mr. Bougo - 01-17-2014 We also stole quake's logo then. RE: Is it just me or did Overgrowth steal our logo? - Pendulla - 01-17-2014 Mr.Bougo is the most reasonable guy here :-) RE: Is it just me or did Overgrowth steal our logo? - Lee_Stricklin - 01-17-2014 (01-17-2014, 02:37 AM)Mr. Bougo Wrote: We also stole quake's logo then. The Xonotic logo is actually a bit of a tribute to the Quake origins of the game though. Can't speak for Overgrowth's. RE: Is it just me or did Overgrowth steal our logo? - Halogene - 01-17-2014 THIEFS! They clearly stole this logo! But not from us: ...what is Overgrowth anyway? RE: Is it just me or did Overgrowth steal our logo? - cvcxc - 01-17-2014 Its all the same Quote:...what is Overgrowth anyway? pretty cool RE: Is it just me or did Overgrowth steal our logo? - sev - 01-17-2014 Elfquest wins RE: Is it just me or did Overgrowth steal our logo? - Pendulla - 01-18-2014 I don't know why does Overgrowth logo have a wolf on it, when it is a game about overgrown rabbits fighting like Bruce Lee... The logo Samual posted is in fact the logo of the developer Wolfire. The game itself has another logo RE: Is it just me or did Overgrowth steal our logo? - Mr. Bougo - 01-18-2014 Quote:<PinkRobot> Wolfire started using that logo as early as 2007 And actually, even as far back as february 2006 on their blog: http://web.archive.org/web/20060220153827/http://blog.wolfire.com/ and that doesn't even say when the logo was made or published for the first time RE: Is it just me or did Overgrowth steal our logo? - Smilecythe - 01-18-2014 (01-18-2014, 06:06 AM)Pendulla Wrote: I don't know why does Overgrowth logo have a wolf on it, when it is a game about overgrown rabbits fighting like Bruce Lee... There's wolves in the game too http://youtu.be/kT2wD288SWs?t=5m56s RE: Is it just me or did Overgrowth steal our logo? - Samual - 01-19-2014 Oh, when I found the logo I did a reverse search and only found things from ~2011... but I admittedly didn't look hard, this was posted at 1:35am RE: Is it just me or did Overgrowth steal our logo? - frostwyrm333 - 02-03-2014 OT but I don't want to spam crap everywhere, unvaquished seems uses same texture pack as xonotic. Interesting. http://www.moddb.com/games/unvanquished/images RE: Is it just me or did Overgrowth steal our logo? - Maddin - 02-03-2014 Those texture packs were released by phillipk under the Creative Commons CC-BY license, so anybody can use those for their project. RE: Is it just me or did Overgrowth steal our logo? - frostwyrm333 - 02-03-2014 Yeah, I thought its GPL, it was just interesting to see the same textures. RE: Is it just me or did Overgrowth steal our logo? - aa - 02-06-2014 Alien Arena and Saurebrightem uses them as well...
