Some kind of nostalgic video. I put every laser frags that I found on my pc into one video Smile , most frags from 2.3-2.4 , I think 1 from 2.5 and maybe some even older than 2.3 - I can't tell.

Yay I have (almost) made a cool frag that might be interesting for someone who is about to do a Nexuiz frag video. I don't have the file with me right now (it's on my PC at home), but the frag is like this:
on evilspace, I was hunting the leading player (I played pretty bad before that but nevermind). He had score 29 for at least a minute... I had fragged him already 2 or 3 times at that score. Then, he went at the jump pad to the nex, I shoot a laser at the jump pad just after it catapulted him. I turn around and see my laser being reflected from the jump pad, making a nice curve, and hitting him mid air at the nex - catapulting him out of the map. Unfortunately he nevertheless managed to grab the nex and hits me from waaay out there, catapulting me off the map too. We fall down, I hit the death trigger first :o/
I'll upload a little vid to some place soon, but in case anyone's interested in the demo I can share it too.

I'd like to see it too Halogene. Do we have anywhere set up where we can upload demo clips like that? That would be a cool idea for those who want to share crazy moments like that.
Of course, it would be great if we had a way to prune the demo down to just what we wanted to share. That's actually a good sidenote - does anyone have a tool to prune demo files based on seconds into the game? There is the old nexuiz demo recorder tool by greenmarine, but what I'm looking at doing is filtering at the demo file level. That way everyone uploads the (small) demo files and can render/make video/etc of them easily.

Good stuff! Would be awesome to follow the laser ball as it hits the other guy, but I know that is tedious to do.

Yes, I would need to know how to operate the free flight camera. I think there was a thread somewhere in the alienTRAP forum. But I didn't have time to do that yet. Maybe I'll do it some other time, though, if no one is interested to incorporate this bit in a cool trailer kind of video or similar.

i think PCL was doing it manually, using camera_enable and camera_free. Of course i can be wrong (notice the word "of course",which means i don't feel very confident in that matter. Only a bit).
