Despite being relatively new to arena FPS, I find myself infatuated with Xonotic; would love to dive into the team-based modes and/or learn how to properly duel!
I'll be lurking the various IRCs. Speaking of which, are there any other notable ones (which aren't, for instance, clan-specific) beyond #xonotic and #xonotic.pickup?
I've already read the Newbie Corner articles, in case anybody asks

Welcome. There is usually someone always willing to duel on #xonotic.pickup so I'm sure they'd be able to show you a couple things.
We're constantly adding for clan arena and tdm games too.
