Looped for Xonotic. The loop point is an interesting plot twist.

I've played a few games while making this switching between LMMS and Xonotic. Once I played the game listening to what I made, twice I was changing the music based on my feelings from the game. This seems like a nice workflow, because I'm very connected with the emotions of the game the whole time. Let me know your feelings about this track.

RE: "Angry Electrons" track - Justin - 06-16-2014

Im not a great fan of music like this, but I must say I enjoyed part from 3:02 to 3:33 a lot. Its like you opened the hatch and went outside, to the space. Other then that I think this soundtrack is not consistent: I don't like begining with all its noise, 1:00 there is good theme but its too rapid and noisy, too hard to listen, on 3:35 you start playing samba, which is very odd. Smile But what is awesome is that you try to carry out experiments, try difffernet things and look for new soutions. Try to make your projects more consistant and easier to listen. Keep it up

I have to say this one is pretty cool, just like most of the other work you've done. One can only hope that it as well as your other work will eventually make it into the game.

Yes, the track is a bit like 3 songs glued together - however that's something I heard frequently in UT2k4 soundtrack. Actually the most rapid transition is where the track end (right before the 1kHz beep it returns straight after the intro buildup - which I like but it very contrasting). I'm open to make big changes here to make it playable, however some stuff won't ever be "good enough".

The ambient spacy part is supposed to give the listener rest after all the noise that was before.

Smaba? Man I didn't expect that Big Grin Cooler than I thought! xD I've added an new tag to this.

Thanks, Lee Smile I hope to sculpt something useful out of this.

Not sure about this one.. Sounds too much like chaos, at least when listen to "alone". It could work as a gametrack i guess. Like Justin, ~3.00 to 3.30 was the most enjoyable part for me. Would be interesting to see this as backdrop to some game footage.

RE: "Angry Electrons" track - Mr. Bougo - 06-22-2014

I generally don't know whether a track is suitable for a game or not, so I can't help provide feedback on that. However I should say that I found it quite interesting to listen to. I don't see any coherence issues. Great work Smile

From 14-54sec and 1:22-1:35 its good and but the tweaky sounds after that kill it.

I don't understand.

Here's the track in the context of the game:

I think it would be ok for game play if it was more minimal and less of those high pitched/tweaky sounds.
