Annoying information box when playing - warpi - 11-11-2014

Hello,

I have this annoying information box when playing multiplayer. Does anyone knows how to disable this?

Press i (unless you have a bind there). Should get rid of it.

For the record I will write the text which annoyed me here if anyone else gets the same problem.
"this is xonotic 0.7.0 client version and server version are compatible. match type is Deathmatch. active modifications: MinstaGib, Hook grappling hook is enabled, press 'e' to use it MOTD: not dead... yet."

Problem solved!

This text is called MOTD (message of the day) and appears on every server that set it up. It's some bug in general at the moment, usually it should show up when you connected and disappear. With 'i' you can make it appear again for few seconds if you could not read it.
So yeah, I am not entirely sure if it's fixed already, but hopefully in the 0.8 release.

It is a bug brought in by the notifications system.
I will take a look at the code, but a temporary fix has been available since day 1 on the SMB servers (and any other servers running my mod).
