Yes.
- But not just yet. First of all, we don't have any maps yet, and the weapon balance is not even near to being finished. There is also a lot in the source code that isn't finished/as stable as we'd want it to be. If you are really eager to test, build the development version from GIT: http://dev.xonotic.org/projects/xonotic/wiki/Repository_Access

seriously, i think (and i hope) that the devs dont make any release dates, as this will just put them under pressure.
expect 1.0 to be released in the next few months

I won't hold my breath, but I'd predict a late summer, early autumn beta release. But the GIT is always there, and it's playable.

You'll be sure to see some excitement on the main page and social networks when things get closer to a release. There is still a lot of organization, creation and collection of contributions to be done before we can even begin to release builds in a helpful way for both players and developers.
