Yeah I tried that
I checked in Nexuiz before but its just hold zoom.
Nexuiz console I checked is +zoom but in Xonotic it will stay like normal zoom

togglezoom stays zoomed in until you press the button again, +zoom unzooms when you release the button (same as Nexuiz).
If it's still staying zoomed after binding to +zoom, make sure you bound the correct button. MWHEELUP & MWHEELDOWN won't work with +zoom though, as you're not "releasing" scroll up/down.

+zoom is hold zoom in xonotic togglezoom stays zoomed until you press again.

All settings for zoom are in the menu easy to find and comprehend. I set it up just like in nexuiz in a matter of seconds. Just look for them.
