Just a reminder to fellow server admins -- please remember to set map file permission correctly for your web servers. Otherwise, your players won't be able to download the file. Xonotic client log doesn't say 403 error so they won't know why.
I know it's an obvious duh, but it's not impossible to make this mistake. I uploaded some new maps to the server but forgot to set the permission for the web server, and I kept thinking it's the client side's problem.
I know I'm not alone in this since I remember experiencing the same problem before as a user on somebody else's server. My fellow players had probably got their map file somewhere else so it wasn't obvious to me why I was the only one who couldn't play.
