Cross platform games with dedicated server components? - end user - 11-23-2015
Been trying to find mostly car racing games that allow custom servers, although there are some games that allow running servers on Linux they don't provide a Linux game client lol.
Any game suggestions besides Mining related games would be appreciated.

There's this cool FPS called Xonotic that comes to mind. It even has vehicles, though mostly not for racing purposes. Check it out!

More interested in real racing games
SuperTuxKart will have it one day but still long way before its implemented. There was Q3 racing but its dead project.

Have You tried Trigger Rally? It's both online and offline.
