XQC #85 (Duel/Insta+Hook) - morosophos - 02-19-2018
Hello, fellow instagibers and all interested people!
We all enjoyed (I hope) the January Instacup. Before we launch the next big Instacup we'll hold a quick cup with an experimental map pool. We decided to seek more fast-paced action on open and semi-open maps.
Although the guys who strive for sneaking and ambushing might be upset, we'd like to invite everybody to try themselves in an ultimate aim competition. All skill levels welcome!
This will be a one-evening cup with a double-elimination bracket.
Quick facts:
- 1v1 Duel (Insta+Hook)
- Servers: XQC #85 (4 servers in Germany (Frankfurt), 3 servers in Netherlands (Amsterdam)).
- Timelimit 20
- Fraglimit: 30
- Modus: Double elimination. Grand final - bo7 (player who comes from the winner bracket has 1 map advantage), winner bracket finals, semifinals and loser bracket final - bo5, all other games - bo3. Map selection will be automated by the bot like in the previous Instacup or Xonotic Winter Cup.
- Prize pool: no monetary prizes for this tournament.

- Date/time: Saturday, 24th February 2018 20:00 CET (2:00 PM EST; 6:00 AM AEDT) // https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/
